Genevieve & Danny’s Wedding
A Beautiful Winter Wedding at QT Falls Creek.
This little fairytale started back at Supanova where the two superheroes in our story made quite an impression on each other. After some time discovering many mutual interests, travelling and falling in love, Danny popped the question when visiting the Harry Potter Castle near New York. Their amazing life and love for each other was to be shared with their nearest and dearest in the amazing location of Falls Creek, during one of the biggest storms we have had for the season.
The ceremony at QT Falls Creek was originally planned for the terrace but was moved inside to keep everyone dry and warm. The staff at QT did an amazing job at preparing the Alpine room and all the special touches made it very unique to the couple. The arch from Enhance Styling and Events fitting in beautifully.
With Danny waiting near the arch the excitement was building as the guests arrived. He looked splendid in his suit by Imperator Menswear. When Genevieve entered the room the faces of their friends and family lit up, but it was Danny who had the most beautiful expression of love and adoration. The touching ceremony was conducted by Peter de Vries of Redbook Weddings and their were not many dry eyes in the room.
After a few refreshments with their wedding guests and family photos it was time to take on the storm and venture out for some photos in the snow. It would have been an interesting sight as we walked across the plaza. The wedding party wearing jackets and towels on their heads to protect them from the rain. The beautiful hairstyles by Michelle Causon from Astra survived. It was worth the effort and we took some beautiful photos in a little spot protected from the rain and wind.
On arrival back at QT some drying off and warming up was needed and the party quickly got into full swing. The alpine Room had been transformed back into a dining room and looked magnificent with the couples signature touches and centrepieces by Enhance Styling and Events. The Wedding cake by Elene Woods providing a stunning focal point. The first dance by Danny and Genevieve was a show stopper, with the emotion from their friends flowing over. The acoustics provided by the very talented Luke Dewing Music flowed into the night.
