Phoebe & David’s Wedding
David and Phoebe have a very special bond shared with their families. Their wedding was a celebration of their love and marriage to each other and the ownership of a joint tea-towel.
Annapurna Estate in Tawonga South was looking splendid with beautiful blooms by Bright Florist adorning the furniture from Gather Vintage Hire and Barlens.
The groom and groomsmen were dashing in their attire from Hallensteins. David professionally groomed by The Chophouse. When Phoebe walked down the aisle she looked so glamorous in her dress from Designer Bridal House that she could have knocked the Avocado print socks off David. Her hair in beautiful soft curls by Birdsnest Hair Salon and dazzling make-up by Bright Beauty Boutique.
The personal ceremony conducted by Minister Alf Thistlewaite of the Uniting Church was threatened by the rain but held off at a drizzle. A deluge as David and Phoebe walked down the aisle at the end had everyone running for shelter. Divine intervention maybe? I did ask Alf if he had anything to do with it, his jovial reply was that he had put a few prayers in.
The family photos had to be taken under the rotunda due to the rain. After a short break we had enough clear sky to take some photos at some locations very meaningful to Phoebe. A neigbours dog was also included in some of these photos as it clearly also wanted it’s 5 minutes.
Back to Annapurna and the party was humming along with Hooray Event co handling the details. Delicious food was served with catering by Settlers Tavern. The cake by Miss Naked Cakes looked delectable and was adorned by Macaroons by Miss Macaron. The speeches were heartfelt and included the very important presentation of the first tea-towel.
As night fell the venue looked spectacular with a beautiful display of lights from Melbourne Fairy Lights. The party really to swing to the tunes of Liam Dalby Entertainment. David put on a real show with some amazing dance moves, but he had his perfect match in Phoebe, who had no trouble keeping up.
