Project Description

Rachael & Adrian’s Wedding

Wow this lady has style! I knew it was going to be something special when Rachel dropped a few hints to what her dress was going to be. The smallest details were not overlooked with beautiful little golden leaves in her hair complementing the bows of her beautiful 1950s Christian Dior dress.

When I arrived at Merrimeet Cottages, Rachel was already looking gorgeous with her hair done by Nomad Hair and the ladies from Glow Bright Spa and Beauty putting the finishing touches on her make-up. It was very special with Rachel’s mum Shirley helping her get into the dress. Shirley could not have been more proud of her daughter and when Rachel’s father arrived I think he was a little lost for words.

The ceremony was to take place in the spectacular garden at Merrimeet Cottages and the Autumn weather was beautiful. A special touch of the intimate ceremony was that it was conducted by their relation, Auntie Genevieve.

After the ceremony and family photos we took a few photos around the garden before walking down to the River. Rachel and Adrian we very brave perching themselves on rocks so that I could get the best angle. Rachel looked like a princess guided by her prince Adrian as he diligently held her hand so she could navigate the rocks. The native bouquet designed by Bright Florist looked exquisite against the natural backdrop. We then headed out to Bright Golf Club just in time to capture the beautiful sunset.

The reception was held at Bright Brewery and everyone relaxed into enjoying the live music and food. Rachel and Adrian’s first dance was well received with some of the little ones finding it very hard not to join in. They were also enthusiastic for the cake cutting which was a three-tiered naked cake by Sweet Crumbs. As I left the couple they were staring into each others eyes and I am sure they had a very enjoyable evening with their family and friends.
